FAQ
Frequently asked questions about Plan de Table
What people ask before their first wedding, and before the real one.
Yes. The forty weddings of the Game, My real wedding, CSV import and exports are free, with no ads and no account.
The Game, in green, is a series of puzzles: imaginary weddings, only one arrangement keeps everyone happy. My real wedding, in burgundy, is a tool: you enter your guests and tables, the app suggests a plan, you fine-tune and print it. The two never mix, and every screen tells you where you are.
No. The home screen has two doors: you can open My real wedding from the first launch without ever playing a wedding.
Up to 150 guests and 20 tables per reception. Tables are round or rectangular, from 2 to 20 seats, and several identical tables can be created at once.
From your spreadsheet, save a CSV file: one line per guest, “name;group”, then optionally “child;diet”. The separator can be a semicolon, a comma or a tab, the header is optional, and French Excel encoding is recognised. The file is read on the device.
A must-have is always met, unless that's impossible: the app then explains why. A wish counts according to its weight: a little, a lot or passionately, and the plan tries to grant as many as it can. The “Keep groups together” option adds a slight wish to bring each group to the same table.
The plan explains it above the tables: two people both together and apart, an over-requested table, a party bigger than the biggest table, missing chairs. Turn one of the must-haves into a wish, or add seats.
Tap a guest, then a seat, or drag them: if someone is already there, the two swap. You can also remove a guest from their table, or ask for another plan.
The seating plan as a PDF, in A4 or A3: each table seen from above, its guests seat by seat, then the “Who's where” index. Folded place cards with the table's name, eight per A4 sheet. And an image of the plan, to send by message.
No. Guests, tables and plans stay on your device: no account, no server, no tracker, and the app doesn't ask for access to your Contacts. A PDF or an image only leaves the device if you share it.
Not yet: a plan lives on a single device. You can however share the PDF at any time to review it together.
Yes, each one is checked by a test: only one arrangement meets all the must-haves. The pinned cards, placed by the couple, stop the same table from working as a mirror image.
Each wedding earns up to three almonds: one for solving it, one if the room was never filled the wrong way, one with no hint. A hint comes in three stages: where to look, the reasoning explained, then the card put in place.
There are six optional Game Center achievements and no leaderboard. With no player signed in, nothing is shown and nothing is sent.
No. The Game and My real wedding work with no network. Only Game Center achievements need one, and they are sent at the next connection.
iPhone and iPad on iOS 17 or later, in French and English, in light and dark. A small or medium widget is included.
